Identify Your Unique Learning Style - This is a PowerPoint presentation on different learning styles and the importance of matching the learning styles of those offering instruction with those receiving it. I help parents understand how to present information to their children in the most effective way (according to their learning style). I include some opportunities for hands on experience with sensory motor integration equipment.

Do You LOVE What You Do? (Career Decision Making) - This is a PowerPoint presentation on the benefits of using learning styles as an indication of career potential. Only when our unique learning styles are matched with specific educational environments and/or career paths can we realize our potentials. Participants will have the opportunities to try some Structure of Intellect (SOI) activities used to develop intelligence.

My Child Doesn't Fit In (A Drug-Free Approach to Sensory Motor Dysfunction) - This is a PowerPoint presentation to help parents and/or caregivers appreciate the importance of balance, visual processing, rhythm, sequence, and sensory motor integration in a person's ability to make sense of this world. Participants will have the opportunity to experience what it is like to have visual processing issues. They will recieve practical suggestions to use at home. They will also have a chance to try out the balance boards, rotation boards, passing sticks, Rebounder, etc.

The ADD/ADHD Challenge - What Works? What Doesn't? What Can I Do? - This is a PowerPoint presentation on how best to reach and teach the 'scatter brained grizzly bear', the 'daydreaming space cadet' and the 'angry ring of fire'. We look at the importance of sleep, nutrition, exercise, teaching methods, balance, and (in some cases) medication.
